Having paid for the OSC 60th Dinner and the branch five-year anniversary buffet in December, bank balance in excess of £700. Twenty tickets requested for Chelsea away (27 February) and, due to cost (£796.95), members have been asked for payment in advance of receiving tickets. Ticket application deadline for Fulham away (20 March) will be Thursday 18 February.
Plans for Annual Event: Current guest options include Joe Corrigan (JJ has sent a formal invitation), Peter Barnes (who could source Asa Hartford), Paul Power, Emily Brobin (works at City and previously Blue Tuesday) and Tommy Booth. JJ requested raffle prizes (Emily will bring signed photo of current squad player). JJ will look to host guests at Limes or in Bent Arms.
Match Attendance: The meeting discussed ticket allocation for key matches. The branch will not receive a large allocation for such events and a clear policy is needed for members. It was agreed that factors to be considered will include attendance at branch meetings, involvement in the branch, and games attended through the branch. Final decisions will be made at the discretion of the committee. After these criteria have been applied, all other interested parties will be drawn from the hat. In addition to this policy, all members are encouraged to seek tickets from other sources, if possible, to allow as many people as possible to attend.
Any Other Business: PD thanked the committee for their efforts.
Date of Next Meeting: Provisionally, Saturday 6 March, noon (prior to Spurs home, live on Sky) - subject to FA Cup 6th round.
